In an effort to help students earn money for the trip I have creed a gofundme.com account. People around the world can donate to a general fund to help offset the cost of the trip. Please share it on social media to help spread the word.
Students have the opportunity to earn money for their trip through our spring fundraiser. Butter Braids is a great pastry that they will b e selling for $12.00. Plesae see the order form below or contact Miss. Jensen for more details.
To help you pay for your DC Trip we have organized a fundraiser that has been very successful in the past. For more information please see Mr. Rydalch. Below are the forms that you will need to sell your plants. The due date for these forms is November 15th.
Many have asked about the usage of frequent flier miles to reduce the cost of the trip. World Strides has said that we CANNOT use miles to replace the cost of the airfare.
If you work for an airline there is a land package that can be purchased that is $350.00 less. The student must arrive at the same time on the same day and may not travel alone.
Our first parent meeting will be held on August 28, 2013 at 6:30 PM in Room 22 at the GJHS. This will be a great opportunity for you to ask any questions and to gain general information about our trip. You can also click below for more information and a sample itinerary.
